One of the most important foundational steps in self-publishing your book is creating your book’s outline.
If you get this step right from the beginning, your book will have a better chance of succeeding and it ensures you fulfill your promise to your readers.
One of the biggest mistakes I made in the early stages of my self-publishing journey on Amazon KDP was to create a book without a detailed outline. I thought I could get away with it, but it only slowed down my progress.
Once I got this phase corrected and took the time to formulate a detailed structured outline, creating a book became easier and gave me consistent results.
Think of your book as an asset, each book that you write is a business in itself. It’s not a product, but a business that needs you to invest the time and and consistently monitor its progress even after it has been published.
Once I started to think this way, I started to see positive results in sales and reviews.
