I agree! America should step up to the game and reward teachers. Back in 2008, there was a big shortage of teachers in Austalia, so the government decided to raise the the yearly income to 60,000 and provide scholarships and further discounts on education degrees for new enrolments. This raised the rate of teachers massively. Ten years after this law was put in place 7 out of 10 of my friends that graduated at the same time as me are now teachers! Great article!
