Disclosure of AI-Generated Content
The most notable change is the requirement for authors to disclose whether their book contains AI-generated content.
This disclosure is crucial for maintaining transparency with readers and Amazon. You will be prompted to confirm whether AI partially or fully generated any text, images, or translations when publishing a book.
You’ll need to select from the following five options:
- None of the text/images/translations are generated by artificial intelligence.
- Some sections with minimal or no editing were generated by AI.
